| CORD CUTTING Definition: (informal) Practice of cancelling a pay television subscription or landline phone connection in favour of an alternative Internet-based or wireless service. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary by who makes cancellation. 2. Cost-benefit analysis would have been done before decision is made. 3. Timing of a cancellation will result in a 'saving' (connect to #2). 4. Nothing of significance will be missed during the 'transition'. 5.
