| ALTER EGO (1) Definitions: i. (from Latin) A person whose personality is different from your own but who shows or acts as another side of your personality. ii. (US) Someone so perfectly sharing the view, intentions, tastes, etc. of another that he can be regarded as the other's second self. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. The thought and reasoning process of the two persons will be same or very similar. That is, one will give similar explanation, excuse, etc. as the other. And a manner of denial, confession, admission, apology, etc., if any, that could be required or necessary, would generally tally with that which the other would have made. 2. Will not need the presence of, or require the availability of, or demand an accessibility to, the other person, before making a decision or taking an action. 3. Does not consult or communicate with the other before proceeding with what he or she needs to do, be this an act, action or inaction. 4. Will demand no guarantee or assurance, from the other self, before acting for and on his or her behalf (where applicable). 5. Does not ask for support, assistance, approval, encouragement, etc., from the other self, to proceed with a plan or course of action. 6. Time, speed, pace, rate, space, etc. of acts and actions will be the same as that which the other would have taken to do same thing. 7.
