Contempt of court (1)
CONTEMPT OF COURT (1)

Definition: The crime of refusing to obey an order made by a court; not showing respect for a court or judge.

1. Person has a purpose and thinks it necessary to be stubborn (see perfect BLOODY-MINDEDNESS).

2. Competence or authority of court/judge is not in doubt. That is, no issue of a lack of jurisdiction (see perfect ACCEPTANCE (4)).

3. Person fully understands or appreciates the likely consequences of disobedience/refusal (see perfect CONSCIOUSNESS (1)).

4. Person was cautioned on behaviour and told the likely outcome of recalcitrance (see perfect WARNING (1)).

5. Sentence that would be passed for not heeding warning will be within the ambit of the law! (see perfect PUNISHMENT (1)).

6. Pronounced only after the completion or conclusion or the wrong act or action, applying all DUE processes (see perfect FAIR HEARING).

7. Person does not protest or resist when committal action commences (see perfect WILLINGNESS (1)).

8. No unplanned loss is experienced during the period of serving punishment, paying fine, etc. (see perfect FRIEND OF COURT).

9. Convict will not file an appeal to try to quash decision or ruling (see perfect GROUNDS OF APPEAL).

10. No parole or pardon will be granted. That is, 'criminal' serves out the full term or pays the full penalty (see perfect AMNESTY (1)).

11. Convict does not pass on while serving punishment or in the process of paying 'price' for stubbornness (see perfect OBSTINACY (1)).

12. Purpose(s) of refusal is/are achieved. That is, punishment (= jail, fine, etc.) is not viewed as a loss by the convict (see perfect SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS).

13. No apology is made by the 'criminal', especially after 'serving' term, for the method adopted. That is, action(s) that convict took was considered, in his or her opinion, as the best way to accomplish aim(s) (see perfect REGRET).
