| CONSULTING ROOM Definition: A room where a doctor talks to and examines patients. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary (to emphasize). 2. Appropriately equipped and adequately furnished. 3. Comfortable, especially for the patient. 4. Dimensions are correct to ensure full convenience for consultation. 5. Location of room is appropriate, that is, easily accessible, especially for the 'ill/sick' patients. 6. Safe, secured and protected from unauthorized entry. (And with identification mark on door to indicate the use/kind of room!) 7. Room is very clean, neat and tidy. 8. Ambience - light, airiness/freshness, etc. - is in proper order. 9. Occupied at any one time by only one patient with the consulting doctor(s) (unless a necessity for a third party presence is established by the medical professional). (To emphasize.) 10. 'Soundproof', whether receptionist, guest(s), other staff and patient(s), etc. is/are present or not in the clinic/hospital, etc. 11.
