| CONSPIRACY THEORY Definition: A belief that a group of people are secretly trying to harm someone or achieve something. You usually use this term to suggest that you think this is unlikely. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, for the proponent of belief, only because he or she can't initially know it's a rabbit hole. 2. No concrete evidence or proof can be adduced or provided for assumption, even if suspicions are supposedly 'strong' and 'irrefutable'. (Connect to #2.) 3. No effort will be made to disprove or clarify situation. That is, people in the group will not be 'confronted' with the 'fact' or detail that gave rise to belief. 4. A usually negative action or reaction, response or overreaction, etc. that will be displayed by you, to the people connected, in your imagination, to the events involved in shenanigan or orchestration, will be reflective of (wrong) belief. (Connect to #6.) 5. There will be a readiness or willingness to try to establish or transmit this belief, especially if others show some interest. 6. (Reserved.)
