| CONSOLATION RACE Definition: A race opened to those who failed in previous contests. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, for the organizers and participants. 2. Previous contests were not consolation races. (To emphasize.) 3. Prizes on offer will not be more valuable than earlier ones. 4. Organization by official(s) will be efficient and thorough. 5. The eligibility of the contestants will not be in dispute. 6. All who qualify or participate will get some good prizes. 7. The audience and fans will not be same as the A-grade's. 8. Race achieves goal(s), with or without record breaking. 9. No injury or casualty will arise from the competition.
