| CONGREGATION (1) Definitions: i. A group of people who are gathered together in a church to worship God, not including the priest and choir. ii. An assemblage of persons or things, especially of persons gathered for a religious service. ____________________________________________________________________ * All six elements above the line should be in. 1. Persons of same faith or religion (or things of same persuasion). For if otherwise, there could be a clash, riot, etc. 2. Gathered in an appropriate location (place of worship). 3. Exhibit proper conduct - not unruly, but 'obedient' and attentive, during the sermon. 4. Doesn't or didn't question the religious message at worship venue (may reflect on it, and doubt it later though). 5. Pays the appropriate 'fees' - alms, tithe, gift, offering, sacrifices, etc, to the preacher ! (God doesn't spend money !). 6.
