Compromise (3)
COMPROMISE (3)

Definition: The act of reaching a compromise (= an agreement made between two people or groups in which each side gives up some of the things they want so that both sides are happy at the end).

1. Purposeful to try to agree to be happy in the end.

2. Necessity on the part of the person(s)/group(s) involved to 'lose some, lose well'.

3. (Reserved.) (What is truly wanted is what was brought to the 'table'. That is, no pretence or 'fake' with the intention to deceive the other person/group!)

4. What can be honestly done without, that is, what can be conveniently 'surrendered' is made known (connect to #3).

5. Discussions, negotiation, etc. is true, timely, free and sincere: no-holds barred.

6. No external person(s) is/are involved in the discussions (to emphasize). (Who owns what?) That is, arrangement is entered into voluntarily by both persons or groups.

7. No provision(s) in the agreement for sharing a thing. (See definition, to emphasize.)

8. No arrangement(s) in the agreement for exchange or barter.

9. No provision or a request to, review sealed agreement, in the near or distant future.

10. Items in contention are not needs! (To emphasize, see definition.)

11. Nothing illegal in the agreement or in its execution. And wants are not illegalities - whatever is got in the end.

12. Agreement serves purpose(s). That is, both persons/groups are happy with whatever is eventually received, however used or utilized.
