COMPLAINT (1)

Definition: [ ~ (about/against somebody/something) / ~ (that ...) ] A reason for not being satisfied; a statement that somebody makes saying that they are not satisfied.

1. There was an output, level or stage, standard, etc. which was expected, but which was not obtained, reached or attained.

2. Exact reason (= measure) for not being satisfied (= shortfall, shortage, etc.) is known; specific and identifiable.

3. There is a certainty on the part of complainant that there is a lack, shortfall, shortage, failure, etc. (Connect to #2.)

4. Complainant believed or is sure that there should, could, would have been no cause for a 'shortchange' (= reason).

5. Purposeful - to mention complain, instead of keeping mute.

6. Necessity in the opinion of complainant to go 'public'.

7. Made in good time and promptly, when the purpose(s) of statement may still be achieved.

8. Appropriately directed to who it makes meaning to and can or should attend to the issue(s) involved.

9. Statement is concise, clear, etc.

10. Made in appropriate manner - speech, letter, visit, email or phone call, attitude or behaviour, etc., etc.

11. Heard, noted, read, etc. and understood by the person(s) statement was directed to (to emphasize). (Connect to #8 & #12.)

12. Statement is specific about area(s) or point(s) dissatisfied with and contains no lie or exaggeration or half-truth(s)! (To emphasize.)

13. (Reserved.) (Complainant has a basis for making statement. That is, a personal or indirect loss is or will be suffered by 'crybaby', from thing or in the situation that is not up to scratch, whether he or she (or they) was (were) goaded or not.)

14. Responded to, even if the treatment given to issue(s) raised is not quite satisfactory for the complainant.
