| COMMUNISM (1) Definition: A political movement that believes in an economic system in which the state controls the means of producing everything on behalf of the people. It aims to create a society in which everyone is treated equally. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements, at the least, should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for its supporters and/or practitioners. 2. The raw materials are under the control of the state. That is, resources - land, mineral wealth, etc. are owned by the government. 3. Selling prices for all products or for any produce is under the strict directive of the state. That is, the regime is usually of price controls. Never price-fixing or a price war! 6. Production costs are general equal for all. 7. Distribution and supply chains are controlled by state apparatus. 8. System will achieve or achieves objective(s).
