| COMING OF AGE Definitions: i. The time when a person reaches the age at which they have an adult's legal rights and responsibilities. ii. The fact of a thing, or someone, reaching an important stage of development, or becoming an adult, and being accepted by a large number of people, or treated by the law as old enough to know and be accountable. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to be regarded as having attained stage. 2. Stage is specific and identifiable; age is definite or specified. 3. Stage is measurable and/or assessable. Or age attained can be appropriately calculated, assessed, confirmed, etc., if necessary. 4. Development, advancement, growth and/or progress, maturity, etc. of thing or person occurs at the right speed/pace or time/period. 5. Behaviour, treatment, handling, characteristics or features, attitudes, etc. of thing or person will reflect new level, grade or position thenceforth. That is, the priority and relevance of thing, and the physical signs and seriousness in person, that are deserved or expected, at this point, will be fully and completely present. 6. Importance and subsequent acceptance will not diminish later for item to become a reject. And real age of 'adult' will not be altered or manipulated, especially to a lower number, in order to secure an undue advantage. (To emphasize.) 7. Quasi- or full independence obtained will be accompanied with new or additional roles or functions, for a thing, or demands, challenges expectations or responsibilities, for a person. 8. (Reserved.) (No desire will be possessed by product's manufacturer or developer, or the young adult to revert or change to the former or previous underdeveloped/undeveloped or childish/immature level.) 9. Developed thing or grown person will not disappoint in new stage.
