| COLD TURKEY Definitions: i. The unpleasant state that drug addicts experience when they suddenly stop taking a drug; a way of treating drug addicts that makes them experience this state. ii. (informal) The unpleasant physical reaction that people experience when they suddenly stop taking a drug they have been addicted to. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. State or condition will be specific and identifiable, whether or not forced or willingly embarked on; and/or treatment will be purposeful and necessary. 2. Extent of condition or treatment offered will be measurable and/or assessable, whether or not at a cost. 3. Lasts or continues for a considerable duration, in the opinion of 'sufferer', such that addiction will not be returned to. 5.
