| CLUB MOSS Definition: A member of Lycopsida, a subphylum of low, spreading, vascular, evergreen plants, the sporophytes of which have stems covered with many small leaves sometimes bearing sporangia. These latter may resemble normal leaves or may be modified and aggregated into a cluster (strobili).
