| CLEARANCE SALE (2) Definition: A clearance sale is a sale in which the goods in a shop are sold at reduced prices, because the shopkeeper wants to get rid of them quickly or because the shop is closing down. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered a necessity. 2. Low prices will not be same as or higher than the prices elsewhere. 3. Goods will still be of the right quality and in the best condition. 4. Reorder will not be delayed, if getting rid. Or the use or uses to which the funds to be realized, on closure, will be put is/are known. 5. Sale at reduced prices will not result in a 'loss' for shopkeeper. 6. The goods or items will be 'cleared' off the shelves in good time. 7.
