| CLASS CONSCIOUSNESS Definition: An acute awareness of belonging to a particular social class and of the differences between social classes. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to be acutely aware. 2. Awareness and realization impacts on the attitude and behaviour of the conscious person: ________ a. Restricted socialization. b. Regulated living or lifestyle. c. Specific and specialized communication. d. Guaranteed solidarity with members of the same class. e. No self-delusion or self-doubt or self-consciousness. Condition or state is based on a deep-seated emotion, not necessarily on any animosity. That is, there will be no real urgency to change status, though a change will not be resisted. 4. No threats or use of force is employed or exhibited while sustaining status. That is, defence of class will always be within the ambit of the law. 6. Status is defended with all that is necessary. That is, there is a strictness about the attitudes and behaviour exhibited by the person in a particular class. No 'flirting' with the 'enemy'! 7.
