| CLASH (7) Definition: (used in newspapers, about sports) An occasion when two teams or players compete against each other. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. None of the competitors (= players), by the applicable rules, is an unauthorized, illegal participant. 3. Umpire is truly neutral (to emphasize). 4. Officiating is flawless. That is, referee, assistant(s) or equipment, etc. makes no mistake or become defective during the game. 5. Organization is efficient and effective. That is, arrangements for venue, timings, emergencies, supporter(s), if any, etc. are all in place, satisfactorily, completely and excellently. 6. Game or event is concluded, however long it takes and whatever the final results. 7. No injuries or unplanned loss from the sporting activities - to player(s) or official(s) or supporter(s) or passer(s)-by. 8. No unforeseen damage, at the end of sporting activity, to the facilities and/or equipment used for the competition (connect to #7). 9.
