| AIRWORTHINESS Definition: (of an aircraft) A condition or state of being possible to be flown. _____________________________________________________________________ * All four elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. ___________________ BRAND NEW OR OLD. (BE INSURED!) 2. Plane is 'certified' by the qualified professional(s), designated to issue a Certificate of Airworthiness. That is, aircraft's 400-hourly check (A-check) will be valid and aeroplane will not be due for the statutory annual maintenance (C-check). In other words, certificate will not be called to question. ________________________________ NORMAL OR EMERGENCY SITUATION. (PRAY!) | ||

| 3. Pre-flight checks are additionally conducted. That is, just before taxiing, or before a take-off, final checks are undertaken by the pilots(s), co-pilot, member(s) of the crew, etc. ___________________________________ ACE OR FIRST-TIMER OR TEST PILOT. (PRAY!) further below the line 4. No problem(s) develops mid-air, that was not predicted or foreseen by the earlier examination before take-off (to emphasize). That is, plane will fly safely and land in an excellent condition. In other words, mandatory regular maintenance (or overhaul!) must be given to the aircraft, including the D-check, as appropriate.
