| CINEMA-GOER Definition: (British English) A person who goes to the cinema/movies, especially when they do it regularly. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Person has a purpose and considers visits necessary. 2. Knows the kind of film due to be shown before getting in. 3. Arrives at the theatre in good time, or at the time planned. 4. Pays or paid to get in, even if person is owner of the film house! 5. Person gets a good view of the screen from wherever seated. 6. Does not get unnecessarily familiar with a seatmate or other theatre-goers, unless this/these person(s) is/are familiar to the film-goer (to emphasize). 7. Keeps emotions in check during the show. And does not have annoying personal habits. That is, person is not a disturbance to other theater-goers. (Connect to #6.) 8. Person learns from the movie. That is, person understands or understood what he or she saw in toto. 9. Time spent attending film was not period meant for something else. 10.
