| HUNTING CRY Definitions: i. (usually - hunting cries) An elaborate system of cries used to communicate with hounds and signify different stages of the hunt. ii. A traditional cry used by huntsmen to indicate that the quarry has been spotted. iii. An exclamation used in fox hunting to signal that the fox has been seen in the open. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should, would be in. 1. Purposeful to 'announce' (see definition). 2. Necessary to seek assistance (to emphasize). 3. Presence/alertness is assured (connect to #4). 4. Eyesight or vision 20/20 - no mistaken identity. 5. Definitely loud enough - audible in the situation. 6. Repeated, or continuing, for duration considered Ok. 7.
