| REFLEXIVITY (1) Definitions: i. The act of examining one's own assumption, belief, and judgment systems, and thinking carefully and critically about how these influence the research process. ii. The fact of someone being able to examine their own feelings, reactions, and motives (= reasons for acting) and how these influence they do or think in a situation. iii. The examination of one's own beliefs, judgments, and practices during the research process and how these may have influenced the research. iv. An ongoing process in private that is very comprehensive and involves the whole of who we are as researchers. v. The process of consciously examining your own subjective point of view, and identifying how your subjectivity would impact the outcomes of your research. vi. A process of self-consciousness where an individual subject or group becomes the object of its own scrutiny, sometimes called self-reflexivity. vii. The back-and-forth process whereby an account of reality depends on pre-existing knowledge of that account. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should and would be in. Honesty, honest-to-goodness possessed or present with individual. When am I going there? SOMEDAY. 9. Industry is not to be compromised by anything offered. 10.
