CHEERING (1)

Definition: The process or activity of shouting loudly, to show support or praise to somebody.

1. Purposeful - for the person(s) cheering.

2. Necessity, in the opinion of who is giving the cheers. That is, recipient is deserving of support or praise. In other words, it is known or believed that achievement was genuinely obtained.

3. Timely, when an achievement is conclusive or very close to a certainty that it will be attained.

4. Not so loud as to cause a distraction or inconvenience for the intended beneficiary.

5. No exhaustion or burnout or unplanned loss from the activity, especially for the cheering person(s). And no damage to the vocal cords.

6. Loud shout does not include a clap or 'stomping' (to emphasize).

7. Subject of support or praise is the right one, no issue of a mistaken identity.

8. Duration of cheers is appropriate in the opinion of person being supported or praised (connect to #4).

9. Act or action serves purpose(s).

10. Others not directly connected with activity are not disturbed with loudness of clap, shout, use of equipment, etc., as applicable.
