| CHECKER (4) Definition: (North American English) One of the round pieces used in a game of checkers. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Material with which made is safe and not likely to cause a problem for the player. 3. Size or dimension is appropriate - not bigger than the square on which it is placed. 4. Shape (= roundness) is correct - same, similar, exact as the piece of the opponent (to emphasize). 5. Color is separate from that of the other player (connect to #4). 6. Weight is appropriate - not too heavy to be moved around on board. 7.
