| CHEAP SHOT Definition: A comment that someone makes which you think is unfair or unkind. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and considered a necessity by 'shooter'. 2. You are not in a position to dodge 'missile' or 'bullet'. 3. Puts you at a disadvantage. Or causes you a serious loss. 4. Speaker is the last person expected to make unfair or unkind comment. That is, he or she was considered or thought of as a friend or an ally. 5. You do not or cannot demand a retraction or apology. Or/and where a retraction or apology was demanded/offered, this was not given or, where given, this turned out to be ineffective. 6. Discomfort or hurt that will be suffered will last for a long time. 7. (Reserved.) (A lookout will be on for an opportunity to 'reply'.) 8. Comment will not be some falsehood or a half-truth.
