| AIR MARSHAL (2) Definition: An armed guard who is employed by an airline to travel on a plane with the passengers in order to protect the plane from terrorists. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered a necessity by airline (or the law!). 2. Has been thoroughly vetted and given the 'all-clear'. That is, there will be a certainty that 'protector' has no sympathy for the ideals of beliefs of extremist organizations. 3. Appropriately trained - in marksmanship, physical combat, etc. and adequately motivated to be efficient and effective. 4. Dresses, behaves, relates, talks, etc., in the plane, like any other normal passenger. 5. Seated in the appropriate seat - aisle or ... . (to emphasize). 6. Has the wherewithal to be able to perform tasks - well armed and/or equipped, etc., even if the tools are hidden from others. 7. Healthy, young and fit! And will be alert throughout a flight. That is, will not take a nap or doze for a moment ! 8. Has at least one other colleague inside the plane. 9. Never has cause to use a toilet during trip. (Connect to #7 & #8.) 10.
