Definitions:

i. Secret misappropriation of property and especially from a decedent's estate.

ii. The act of secretly taking property, especially from an estate left by someone who has died.

iii. (French law) The act of taking something fraudulently; it is generally applied to the taking of the goods of the estate of a deceased person fraudulently.
