CHALLENGE (1)

Definition: A new or difficult task that tests somebody's ability and skill.

* All eleven elements should be in.


1. Purposeful, whether self-imposed or officially/legally assigned, even if considered as unnecessary.

2. Person believes that he or she, or it is assumed that person, has the capability (= ability and skill) to perform task.

3. Legality of task is apparent. (Unless a legal/lawful authorization has been secured to attempt or undertake an illegality!)

4. Task is (believed) doable. Or is a newness/difficulty that had been achieved/overcome before by a different person or group of persons.

5. Risk in the task is not an unreasonable one. (Connect to #9.)

6. Reward, gain or profit on completion of task will be worthwhile, even if this will be only an acknowledgment or a recommendation, an applause or a standing ovation.

7. Nothing illegal, unauthorized or unapproved will be needed or done to face the assignment (= task); no underhand deals (connect to #3 & #4).

8. Not shied away from. That is, can or will be taken on, without second thoughts! In other words, no doubts in the mind of the challenger once the (an) 'offer' is accepted.

9. No serious clues or secret hints are possessed, by the person facing assignment, before it is accepted (connect to #8).

10. Won. That is, task will be accomplished or completed as demanded, or as exactly desired or hoped for.

11. No unplanned loss occurs to the winner (s). And no regret(s) afterwards, to accepting to confront new or difficult task.
