| CHAIRMAN (1) Definition: The person in charge of a meeting, who tells people when they can speak, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All twelve elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary - to lead, direct, control, organize. 2. Person is elected or appointed or selected by the appropriate authority/members/group, etc., not self-appointed. ________ 3. Person is fair and ensures equity and justice to all members at the meeting. That is, does not show subjectivity or selfishness. In other words, allows all the others to talk too! Not quick-tempered! 4. Open-minded. Transparent. Well-mannered and selfless, not headstrong or a shit stirrer! And not sexist! ________ 5. Person is in the right frame of mind at the time of sitting. And healthy enough to be actively in attendance all through the period. 6. Has all the five faculties - of hearing, smell, sight, touch and taste - working excellently during meeting, with or without a sixth sense! And with the best standards of personal hygiene. ________ 7. Person does not see himself or herself as better than the others at the meeting: has only one vote! That is, not arrogant or self-opinionated. (To emphasize). (Even if treated as a superior.) 8. Never absent at a meeting. And never surrenders or delegates the voting right! ________ 9. Person has a deputy or vice, who is elected or selected or appropriately appointed (connect to #2). 10. Honest and truthful; objective, not biased. Self-disciplined, self-respecting and capable, not self-serving or self-seeking. ________ 11. Person is respected and obeyed (not feared!). And gets the cooperation of all the members in a (the) meeting. That is, never faces the threat of an 'impeachment' or experience a gang up by the others (connect to #4, #7 & #10). 12.
