| MORISONIAN Definitions: i. A member of the Evangelical Union, formed in 1843 by the Rev. James Morison (1816-1819), after his separation from the United Secession Church - incorporated with the Congregational Union of Scotland in 1896. ii. A follower of the Rev. James Morison, a Secession Minister in Kilmarnock, suspended from his charge in 1841 because of his opposition to certain Calvinist doctrines, especially on predestination, and later the founder of the Evangelical Union denomination which united with the Congregational Union in 1896. ______________________________________ INCORPORATED !?
