| CELEBRATION (1) Definition: A special event that people organize in order to celebrate something. ____________________________________________________________________ * All sixteen elements should be in. 1. Purposeful, whatever this/these is/are (connect to #2 & #11). 2. Necessary to have event. That is, a basis exists for activity - culture, duty, tradition, etc. ________ 3. Not patently illegal. That is, no law bans the specific activity (= celebration) from being staged/celebrated. 4. Planned in advance. That is, venue, time/timings, duration, organization, programs, rules, etc. are all specifically arranged beforehand. In other words, never premature. ________ 5. Location, movement to and from venue, etc. are secured, safe and well arranged, where necessary, if these are to be undertaken by those celebrating. 6. Nature and the environment is not despoiled or disturbed as a result of the activities or by the arrangements made. ________ 7. Preparations made are comprehensive (connect to #8). 8. Everything necessary for event to go excellently well, as required, is provided. ________ 9. Event is attended and fully participated in by all the main people invited and/or expected to attend the activity or activities. 10. Event goes as planned without mishaps or unplanned losses. And activities start and end at the appropriate times. That is, not chaotic event and the enjoyment won't be stopped in its track. ________ 11. 'Show' or event is for all, not one or few or some! That is, celebration will not ban any person eligible to attend and will have no dead celebrant(s). (To emphasize, connect to #2, see definition.) 12. The forces of nature, that is, the elements, cooperate throughout the period meant for activities. That is, event is not disrupted by inclement weather. ________ 13. Post-celebration activities are concluded excellently. That is, clean up, packing, return trips, etc. go as planned. 14. (Reserved.) (The major parts of the event are recorded, even if only in, or by, the memory.) ________ 15. Activity achieves objective(s) as hoped for and without unplanned exorbitant expenditure (where applicable) (connect to #16). 16.
