| CAVER Definition: A person who goes into caves under the ground as a sport or hobby. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose, declared or not. 2. Considers activity a necessity. 3. Certified fit/healthy to embark on 'journey'. 4. Properly equipped, kitted or dressed for 'trip'. 5. Plans and prepares for 'adventure'. That is, departure time, will or provision for loved ones, etc. are known, made ready, given, etc. before going into cave. 6. Stays in caves for period hoped or planned for. That is, gets out from under the ground in good time. 7. Suffers no unplanned loss as a direct result of activity. 8.
