| CAUCUS (2) Definition: A group of people with similar interests, often within a larger organization or political party. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, for members of group, to be together. 2. Properly structured and organized, with each person or team having specific roles and responsibilities. 3. Persons are those who were original members of organization or political party - not later or recent joiners or 'decampees' from the 'opposition'. 4. Has rules and ethos that are known to and observed by each member. 5. United, strong and effective. That is, will be unanimous in its decisions and do all that is legal to follow these through. 6. Comprised of independent-minded members and also the group will be financially independent. 7. Never gets involved in an illegal activity that may threaten its existence or effectiveness. 8. Achieves goal(s), whatever this/these is/are, without an unplanned loss being suffered by group. 9. (Reserved.)
