| CASH BAR Definition: A bar at a wedding, party, etc., at which the guests have to pay for their own drinks rather than getting them free. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary - whoever owns the bar ! 2. Justifiable. That is, guests know that organizer(s) is/are not ready or wealthy enough to provide free drinks. __________________ 3. Arrangement is made known to guests early enough - at the time of invitation, long before the event. 4. Prices at bar are rock bottom! (To emphasize.) __________________ 5. All the types of drinks that are requested for by guests are available in the bar. Additionally, drinks are of all qualities and not passed their 'drink-by-date'. 6. Drinks are in conditions as desired by guests - chilled, cold, lukewarm, hot, etc. __________________ 7. Service provided by barman/bartender, etc. is excellent - courteously, timely and honestly. 8. Bar is well located or positioned in the event's venue, with the appropriate seating and/or standing arrangements, etc. __________________ 9. Bar is open to all guests during the occasion and no guests is treated differently by organizer(s). That is, no guest gets a free drink or denied a purchase under any guise! 10. Bar gets patronage; serves purpose(s), as exactly hoped for. __________________ | |
