| CARRY-ON (2) Definition: (North American English) A small bag or case that you carry onto a plane with you. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements, at the least, should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to carry bag onto plane instead of checking it in with other luggage, if any. 2. Bag or case has passed through all security checks before boarding. (And duly authorized to be carried on board.) 3. Placed in the appropriate place in plane - luggage rack or as directed by the cabin crew or flight attendant. That is, small bag or case does not cause any problem on board - not to other passenger(s) or your seatmate(s) or with the hosts/hostesses. 4. Case or bag is not 'oversize' to make opening and closing of overhead hatch or luggage rack difficult (connect to #2 & #3). 5.
