| PERCEPTION ENGINEERING Definition: (informal) The art or act of taking steps that help to convince another about a thing or event which ends up favourable to who does activity involved in the changing of others' minds or hearts. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should and would be in. 1. Designer acting with a purpose and necessity. 2. Commences early, before a 'point of no return'. 3. Whatever is displayed to others to see has majorly or only the 'pro' side. That is, presentation to target - audience: viewers or listeners - would be guided to what he/she/they would want to hear, wish to see, hope to taste, love to smell and need to feel. In other words person(s) targeted would be made to think afresh, seek to know and dare to dream or imagine. 4. Questions? These would have been resolved or sorted by a very successful prevarication or some sustained displacement activity. 5. Misgivings? Extinguished by inundating the Doubting Thomas with so much information or details requiring steady consideration and ending up as a distraction, such that time and resources won't be available for a wishful thinking or might-have-been situation, during activeness of situation or thereafter. That is, the bringings-forth would last for as long as planned for. 6. Attitude, behaviour of hopeful not contradictory. 7. Activities serve purpose(s), exactly as desired. __ Now...
