Purposeful - for the captor. 2. Act was authorized by the appropriate authority. 3. Target for capture is the right person/thing (connect to #2). 4. Person or animal is/was aware that he/she/it is/was being sought for capture. __________________ 5. Person/thing makes/made effort to evade capture. 6. Target put up a resistance before he/she/it was finally caught. __________________ 7. The person or thing that captures was not injured or damaged. 8. Who or what was captured was not damaged or injured. __________________ 9. Excessive resources was not deployed to achieve aim. 10. Captive was in captivity for duration desired by the captor. __________________ 11. No attempt (or possibility) of escape for the captured person or thing.
