| CAPTOR Definition: (formal) A person who captures a person or an animal and keeps them as a prisoner. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers it necessary to capture particular person or animal. 2. Who or what is captured will be the right person or animal. 3. Has the ability or capability to ensure that no escape is possible for prisoner. 4. Will state the basis for act - in case of the need for a negotiation - to those who might be seeking the release of captive or detained animal (connect to #1). 5. Will never change his or her mind, until purpose(s) of capture is/are achieved. And will, thereafter, not keep captive a second longer than necessary. 6. Takes appropriate and reasonable care of prisoner while he/she/it is in his or her custody. 7. Will suffer no unplanned loss, won't be sanctioned, etc. for kidnapping or capturing innocent person or animal. 8.
