| ALMAJIRI Definitions: i. A child from a poor home usually sent to Islamic boarding schools. ii. An individual,usually under 15 years of age who attends informal Islamic schools and is allowed to wander in search of alms when there are no classes. iii. Almajiri usually refers to a person who migrates from his home to a popular teacher in the quest for Islamic knowledge. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements would be in. 1.
