| CAPITULATION (1) Definition: [ ~ (to somebody/something) ] The act of agreeing to do something that you have been refusing to do for a long time. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine or ten elements, as applicable, would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary - the change of mind. __________________ CAJOLED OR FORCED OR THREATENED OR ... . 2. Earlier refusal was of your own volition (to emphasize). That is, there was a basis for stubborness. __________________ SOBER OR DRUNK OR 'TRICKED' OR ... . 3. Timing is considered appropriate. That is, thing now agreed to be done is available and can still be done. __________________________ NO MORE VAINGLORY. 4. There will be a gain, for you, however little, when thing is done. ______________________ WHENEVER DONE. 5. Decision to do thing is of your own freewill (connect to #2). ________________________________________ SELFISH OR SELFLESS CONSIDERATION. 6. Thing will be or is allowed to be done (if applicable). ________________________________ WHATEVER METHOD APPLIED. 7. There is a readiness or preparedness on your part, not just a willingness. ______________________________ LEGAL OR ILLEGAL THING. 8. Thing is/was/would be done properly or correctly. __________________________ ASSISTED OR SOLELY. 9. There would be no regret(s) for the change of mind and the doing of thing. That is, no unplanned loss, injury, etc. from the act(s) and/or action(s). __________________________________________ WHATEVER THE THING AND THE RESULT. 10. The change of mind happens or happened at the eleventh hour - when it was certain that an escape, prevention or avoidance of the seemingly 'forced situation' was no more possible.
