Unconscious bias
UNCONSCIOUS BIAS

Definitions:

i. Learned stereotype that is automatic, unintentional, deeply ingrained, universal and able to influence behavior. [Wikipedia.]

ii. Social stereotypes about certain groups of people that individuals form outside their own conscious awareness.

iii. The underlying attitudes and stereotypes that people unconsciously attribute to another person or group that affect how they understand and engage with a person or group.

1. Purpose and necessity for actions unknowingly selfish.

2. Education, experiences, training, etc. erroneously misapplied.

3. Inadvertently selective about what is read, heard, etc.

4. Fortuitously limited about where being visited, stayed in, etc.

5. Ignorantly giving justification for action or inaction.

6. Innocently expressing belief concerning whatever loss suffered.

7. Situation usually that where there is zero consequence.

8. Realization not going to be had; an apology not going to arise.

9. Admission of bias should lead to honest self-analysis.*
