CANCELLATION (3)

Definition: The act of nullifying or invalidating; the fact of making something no longer valid.

1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Mutually agreed on (if involving two or more parties).

3. Timely, when agreed to, by all sides.

4. With no loss incurred by any or all sides. Or as agreed in the conditions of contract, agreement, etc.

5. When what is or was invalidated can or could be forgone without a loss, negative effect or consequence.

6. Completely, not in part(s), unless a part-cancellation is allowed.

7. If it's a sole decision, nullification should be out of conviction not by compulsion or for unworthy reason(s) (connect to #2).

8. Act is not regretted later, that is, invalidation serves purpose(s).
