| LIVE AND LET LIVE Definitions: i. (proverb) You should tolerate the opinions and behaviour of others so that they will similarly tolerate your own. ii. Said to mean that people should accept the way other people live and behave, especially if they do things in a different way. iii. (idiomatic) Expresses the idea that all should be able to live their lives in the manner they want to, regardless of what other may think of them. [Urban Dictionary.] iv. An orientation toward life that make existence bearable and often allows even the most tenuous social relationship to remain intact. v. A practical, loose-and-easy life philosophy that is, for whatever reason, incredibly difficult to adopt. vi. Used to say that a person should live as he or she chooses and let other people do the same. vii. (convention) A way of saying that you should let other people behave in a way that they want to and not criticize them for behaving differently from you. viii. To refrain from interfering in others' lives; to be tolerant. ix.
