| OPPROBRIOUSNESS Definition: The quality of being opprobrious (= reproaching and taunting; abusive and mean). ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Thought purposeful and necessary by who is being opprobrious. 2. Believed deserved or earned by person or party at receiving end. 3. Footing irreproachable, i.e. some badness or a wrong has/had occurred. 4. Excuse or justification not provided or available by the guilty. 5. Courage or opportunity to counter an abuse, insult, etc. absent. 6. Status or position of wrongdoer makes a bad behaviour more worrying. 7.
