Unacceptance
UNACCEPTANCE

Definitions:

i. (law) A commercial term as a well as a term in contract law. In commerce, unacceptance is a term related to payment (an engagement to pay an order, draft or bill of exchange when it becomes due (as by the person it is drawn on). In modern commercial terminology, a formal agreement by a debtor to pay a draft, etc.

ii. (in contract law) A person's words or conduct construed as signifying the non-assent (though not necessarily his rejection) to the terms and conditions of an offer or agreement.

iii. Lack of acceptance.

iv. The condition of not accepting something.
