| BUTCHERY (2) Definition: The work of preparing meat to be sold. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary (see definition). 2. Animal to provide meat is selected and confirmed as healthy. 3. Animal to be killed will be appropriately butchered, with or without the requisite approval(s), where required. 4. Slayed animal is cut into the right sizes and weighed or measured to confirm correctness. 5. The meat is washed and/or cleaned, preserved, etc., as applicable. 6. The packaging, boxing, etc. of the cut meat, is done correctly. 7. A labelling, of the animal's packaged parts, is done rightly. 8. The price(s) are determined and price tags, where required, are affixed on the various cartons, packs, packages, boxes, etc. 9. Display and presentation is nicely made.
