| BUSINESSMAN'S RISK Definition: Moderate investment risk in which other factors, e.g., return and/or growth potential, are involved. It is less than a speculative risk. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for investor to adopt particular style, for whatever reason and/or cause. 2. Prioritization, market research, SWOT analysis, etc. would have been done before decision is made. 3. The amount or capital invested will be considered as spare cash, or loose change, or funds that can be invested. 4. The other variables and their effects are within predictable limits or have been reasonably forecast. 5. Actions or activities in the execution of decision will not involve an illegality or underhand dealing. 6. Timing of decision will be auspicious. That is, trade barriers, etc. will not be present while taking risk. 7. The unpredictability of the end result or outcome, especially when a loss, will be tolerable for 'businessman'. 8. Appropriate insurance cover will be in place as the investment decision is being executed. (To emphasize.) 9.
