| BUSINESS ANGEL Definition: A person who gives financial support to a commercial venture and receives a share of any profits from it, but who does not expect to be involved in its management. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers it necessary. 2. Support given will be considered as substantial. 3. Never attaches a condition to assistance rendered. That is, will not specify an expectation of a return on investment (to emphasize). ______________________________ 'HOPEFUL, BELIEVING' ... 4. Gives financial help without being overly prompted or cajoled. 5. Will have no interest/shares, directly or indirectly, in venture. 6. Gives valuable and prompt advice to management, whenever consulted or required. 7. Asks no questions and therefore won't seek a legal intervention to interpret or intervene in a contentious matter.
