| AFFORDABILITY (2) Definition: (usually used negatively) The situation of being unable to do something because it will cause problems for you if you do. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements should be in. 1. Dangers, risks, difficulties, disadvantages, etc. that will accompany an act or action are fully known. That is, thing to be refrained from is completely understood. 2. The certainty of what is known, not suspected, is guaranteed. That is, there will be no expectation of a changed circumstance that would make an attempt to be contemplated or started. 3. A strong temptation will exist to try to do thing, as a result of some illicit gains or promise, a bet or dare, etc., while hoping, somehow, that the negatives will be avoided. (To emphasize.) 4. There will be a sureness that a loss, punishment, sanction, embarrassment, etc. will be suffered if thing is done, whether or not a warning or caution is had (see definition). 5. (Reserved.) (It will be wished that thing could be done. And legal or official efforts to make thing doable, or affordable, will be attempted.
