| QUICKENING (1) Definitions: i. First fetal movement (when some pregnant moms can feel their babies move as early as 12/13-16 weeks, or 18-20 weeks, or around 25 weeks, from the start of their last period). ii. In pregnancy terms, quickening is the movement in pregnancy when the pregnant woman starts to feel or perceive fetal movements in the uterus. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should and would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Anticipated or expected. 3. Movement will be easy. 4. Becomes the quickener... for preparation for the real journey. 5. Causes no unplanned loss.
